Cinnicrew Origin
The Cinnicrew originated approximately 17 years ago on the south canyon of the Gallatin river in Montana. A group of seven friends gathered weekly at Curt and Mia’s cabin for skiing at Big Sky Resort. Later we were dubbed the “Cinnicrew” due to our strong bond and the cabin’s location near Cinnamon Creek. The need for more seasonal companionship spawned a yearly Cinnicrew spa to spa bicycle tour in the Big Hole River valley of Montana.
Three members of the Cinnicrew started dreaming about a trans-America bicycle ride many years ago. Retirement, semi-retirement and our aging bodies dictate that the time has come to make this dream a reality. Jim, Suzy and Curt will start the journey from San Diego l, California to St. Augustine, Florida in March of 2020.
UPDATE: Due to the worldwide Covid pandemic the ride was aborted approximately midway and rescheduled to resume April 2022.
