Basically we followed the same procedure we used for our Southern Tier ride. It worked really well. For those of you new to my blog posts or to refresh your memory…I’ll give you the method we are using.
After all the planning and gathering of gear and equipment it’s ready to fit into the appropriate saddlebags or panniers. Recognizing that we are riding into cooler weather ( September and early October) we needed to bring warm clothes and be ready to ride and sleep in wet and cooler weather. Choosing the appropriate layers… just enough but not too much, because you have to carry it everyday!

Once the gear was all distributed into panniers and weighed I made my schematic itemized list of what goes where. Of course this is likely to morph a bit along the way, but in the meantime I keep the list handy for packing and loading the bike every morning.

Countdown to departure is 2 days….definitely ready to go …. Montreal here we come😊🚴♀️🇨🇦
Remind me where you plan to start and finish please!
