Last night was very peaceful and quiet..all night… happy in my tent, warm and comfortable. No drama!!
We woke up to a very foggy morning. We started off in the fog along the River coastline. I say coastline because it certainly looks and feels like an inland sound. The little River coast community we rode through quite early was really pretty. It was foggy and the houses were so nice. I loved how they looked with flowers and benches and chairs looking to the River. The fog was dripping off our helmets, faces and Jims legs. When we rode inland a bit the fog would lift some and the air temp would warm up a bit. It took a while to warm up and clear up today. I was thinking it reminded me of Half Moon Bay, CA summer weather.

Nice knee Jim

We took a nice stop at a coffee shop for a drink and a snack in the cute little town Kamouraska, Quebec. Shortly after that stop the topography changed and there were big granite hills on our right and the farms near the river on our left. Mostly the farms were dairy, but we saw wheat, barley and corn fields as well. At a few places there seemed to be popular rock climbing areas and trail hiking in the rocky hills.
I was really happy I could climb all the hills today. I’m starting to get nervous after talking to people about what’s to come! I will find out eventually.

Things I see…
By now you know some of the things I spot. Here’s a few from todays ride

Note the rock outcropping in the background

We have seen this the last 2 days.
I’m happy to have resolved my tech issue. Turns out my website app just needed more money for more GB space… of course! Problem solved a few days and a few dollars later… aha! Haha
Tomorrow tomorrow..
We head southeast tomorrow working our way toward the Quebec/Maine border to the town of Edmonston. We found out we are going to run into about 20km of construction tomorrow after we climb back through this town of Riviere du Loup. We have no idea if we can ride it… no one seems to be able to answer that question. Up until Sept 4 they were shuttling cyclists. Who knows? Tomorrow we shall see😜
So pleased your issues are resolved – the photos are so lovely. Good Luck tomorrow – wishing for the shuttle for you.
